Eid Joy Echoes Through ITIS: Students Celebrate the Sweetness of Eid al-Fitr:
ITIS recently resonated with joyous cheers and the delightful aromas of freshly baked treats as
students across all grade levels celebrated the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Fitr. ITIS students em-
braced the spirit of togetherness and festivity with a range of engaging and heartwarming activi-
ties.
A highlight for many was the delightful cookie-making sessions that took place in the school res-
taurant. Students, their faces beaming with concentration, eagerly participated in mixing, shaping,
and decorating Eid cookies, transforming simple ingredients into edible works of art. The air buzzed
with collaborative energy as students shared tips and admired each other’s creations, fostering a
sense of camaraderie and shared accomplishment.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, music and dance played a significant role in the celebrations,
from traditional Eid songs to more contemporary tunes. Furthermore, students participated in an
Eid prayer simulation, providing a hands-on learning experience about this important ritual. The
school also echoed with the beautiful sounds of Takbirat, further immersing everyone in the spiri-
tual essence of Eid.
Beyond the fun and games, the Eid celebrations at ITIS also served as a valuable opportunity for
students to learn more about the cultural and religious significance of Eid al-Fitr.
